Dead Robot - Snapscale v1 - Creative MIDI Effects VST Plugin for windows/mac

DR Snapscale v1 is a VST2 MIDI effect that snaps any incoming notes into a musical scale. There are 8 different creative scales to choose from (Moody, Uplifting, Ninth, Desert, Handpan, Pentatonic, Only C, and C & G) and a shift knob to transpose the outgoing "snapped" MIDI notes. To put it another way, it's almost like an "autotune" for MIDI, allowing anyone without music theory knowledge to jam and create something musical and aesthetically pleasing.

how to use in FL Studio
1. install the .vst normally
2. on a new unused mixer track, add DR Snapscale v1 (Snapscale doesnt output audio, just MIDI, so if it's on a channel with audio it will be muted)
3. open the plugin's gear/settings, and change the midi input and output (for example, midi input:2 and midi output:3)
4. add a MIDI out channel, and set that MIDI's track to match the input of the Snapscale (2 in this example); this is the instrument layer you will play/use
5. add your desired virtual instrument, and in that plugin's gear/settings make the Midi input match snapescale's output (3 in this example)

how to use in Ableton
1. add a midi track with DR Snapscale v1 on it (for example this track is named "Snap")
2. add another midi track with your desired virtual instrument (for example this track is named "Instrument")
3. change the MIDI input on "Snap" from "All Ins" to "Snap" and then change "Post FX" to "DR Snapscale v1"
4. make sure the "Snap" MIDI track is armed (if you're using a midi keyboard) and on "Auto" or "In"
5. make sure your "Instrument" is set to "In" so it receives the new notes!

note: these ".vst" plugins have been tested in FL Studio, Ableton and Reaper on several computers and are working for me, but since im one person doing everything, I can’t 100% guarantee they’ll work anywhere else (like the AU MIDI FX files in logic, for example). feel free to message me on IG or soundcloud if you are having issues and i’ll try my best to help!

NOTE: newer Mac users may have issues installing due to me being an "unverified developer" but this video has a good fix how to get the plugins to properly load
